The Legno Venezia line is inspired by Briccole, those stakes famous across the globe, which have guided vessels along the Venetian canals for centuries. When they are replaced due to wear caused by the effect of brackish water, the craftsmen of the Republic of Venice give them a new lease of life, turning them into items of interior décor.

Laminam was inspired by this hundred-year tradition and created a surface capable of replicating the essence of briccole on ceramic and the wooden vein patterns in three colours: corda (rope), sabbia (sand) and fumo (smoke). Behind this process lies a careful analysis of the material being replicated.

The soft, warm hues of Legno Venezia and its finish make this line especially suited to interior décor, where the styling appeal of an ancient material can be combined with the glorious past and the practicality and functionality of ceramic.

La linea Legno Venezia è ispirata alle briccole, i sostegni famosi in tutto il mondo, che da diversi secoli delimitano la navigazione dei canali veneziani. Quando vengono sostituiti a causa dell’usura causata dall’azione dell’acqua salmastra, gli artigiani della Serenissima, danno loro una nuova vita, trasformandoli in complementi di arredo.

Laminam si è lasciata ispirare da questa tradizione centenaria e ha creato una superficie in grado di riprodurre l’essenza delle briccole sulla ceramica e le venature lignee declinate in tre tonalità, corda, sabbia, fumo. Un processo alla base del quale c’è sempre l’accurata analisi del materiale che si vuole andare a riprodurre.

La cromaticità morbida e calda di Legno Venezia e la sua finitura, rende questa linea particolarmente indicata per l’arredo di interni, dove si potrà coniugare la resa estetica di un materiale antico e dalla storia gloriosa alla praticità e funzionalità della ceramica.
