À la base de la ligne Ossido, il y a un défi envers le temps : une volonté de figer un matériau à un moment précis de sa vie, et qu’il reste ainsi pour toujours. Plus précisément, il s’agit de la reproduction d’un processus d’oxydation de plaques de cuivre et métal, qui produit une couleur très prononcée et riche, mais qui disparaît inévitablement au fil du processus d’oxydation.

Le défi de Laminam était justement d’immortaliser sur ses surfaces le moment où la couleur était au summum de sa splendeur, en simulant les effets des agents atmosphériques et en créant aussi des variantes chromatiques particulièrement audacieuses, comme le vert-de-gris. Une ligne où la lumière est essentielle, offrant toujours de nouveaux reflets et de nouvelles nuances.

Avec son esthétique si spéciale, Ossido est particulièrement adaptée à la réalisation de compléments d’ameublement et à la décoration d’intérieur. Les deux variantes – Ossido Nero (noir) et Bruno (brun) – permettent de créer des contrastes riches en personnalité et en structure matérielle. Un mariage très réussi entre art et technologie.

The Ossido line stems from a wager against time, in an attempt to crystallise a material at a specific point in its life and have it stay that way forever. Specifically, it entails the reproduction of a oxidation process on slabs of copper and metal, which generates a very strong and rich colour, yet which inevitably disappears as the oxidation process progresses.

The challenge faced by Laminam was in fact to capture the moment of maximum splendour of the colour onto the surfaces, simulating the effects of atmospheric agents and also developing certain colour variants which are particularly bold, such as verderame (verdigris). It is a line where the fundamental role is played by light, which always generates new reflections and new variations in colour.

The particular aesthetics of Ossido make it especially suitable for use in interior furnishings and items of interior décor. With the other two variants, Ossido nero (black) and bruno (brown), contrasts packed with personality and textured structure can be generated. A genuine combination of art and technology.

Die Linie Ossido entsteht aus einer Wette gegen die Zeit, aus dem Wunsch, ein Material zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt seines Lebens zu kristallisieren und für immer so zu belassen. Genauer gesagt handelt es sich um die Reproduktion eines Oxidationsprozesses von Kupfer- und Metallblechen, der eine sehr kräftige und satte Farbe erzeugt, welche dann aber im Laufe des Oxidationsprozesses unweigerlich wieder verschwindet.

Die Herausforderung für Laminam bestand darin, den Moment maximaler Farbpracht auf seinen Oberflächen einzufangen, die Wirkung atmosphärischer Einflüsse zu simulieren und auch besonders gewagte Farbvariationen, wie Grünspan, zu entwickeln. Eine Linie, in der das Licht eine sehr wichtige Rolle spielt, das immer wieder neue Reflexionen und Nuancen hervorbringt.

Durch die besondere Optik eignet sich Ossido für die Realisierung von Einrichtungsgegenständen und Innenausstattungen. Mit den beiden weiteren Varianten, Ossido Nero und Bruno (Schwarz und Braun), werden individuelle Kontraste möglich, die die Stofflichkeit besonders gut zum Ausdruck bringen.
