La ligne Legno Venezia s’inspire des « briccole », parfois appelés ducs d’Albe, ces fameux pilotis vénitiens que tout le monde connaît et qui délimitent depuis des siècles la navigation des canaux. Lorsque les artisans de la Sérénissime les remplacent à cause de l’usure engendrée par l’eau salée, ils leur offrent une seconde vie en les transformant en compléments d’ameublement.

Se laissant inspirer par cette tradition centenaire, Laminam a créé une surface qui reproduit l’essence des ducs d’Albe sur la céramique et les veines du bois déclinées en trois teintes – Corda, Sabbia, Fumo. Un processus qui se base toujours sur une analyse soignée du matériau à reproduire.

Avec ses couleurs douces et chaudes et sa finition, la ligne Legno Venezia est particulièrement adaptée à l’ameublement d’intérieur, où l’on pourra unir l’esthétique d’un matériau ancien, au passé glorieux, à la praticité et à la fonctionnalité de la céramique.

The Legno Venezia line is inspired by Briccole, those stakes famous across the globe, which have guided vessels along the Venetian canals for centuries. When they are replaced due to wear caused by the effect of brackish water, the craftsmen of the Republic of Venice give them a new lease of life, turning them into items of interior décor.

Laminam was inspired by this hundred-year tradition and created a surface capable of replicating the essence of briccole on ceramic and the wooden vein patterns in three colours: corda (rope), sabbia (sand) and fumo (smoke). Behind this process lies a careful analysis of the material being replicated.

The soft, warm hues of Legno Venezia and its finish make this line especially suited to interior décor, where the styling appeal of an ancient material can be combined with the glorious past and the practicality and functionality of ceramic.

Die Linie Legno Venezia ist von den Pfahlbündeln inspiriert, den weltberühmten Stützen, die seit mehreren Jahrhunderten die Schifffahrt auf den venezianischen Kanälen begrenzen. Die alten, aufgrund der Einwirkung von Salzwasser zu ersetzenden Pfähle werden von den venezianischen Handwerkern zu neuem Leben erweckt und als Einrichtungsgegenstände benutzt.

Laminam hat sich von dieser jahrhundertealten Tradition inspirieren lassen und eine Oberfläche geschaffen, die in der Lage ist, die Essenz der Pfähle auf Keramik mit Holzmaserungen in den Farbtönen Corda, Sabbia, Fumo (Seil, Sand, Rauch) nachzubilden. Ein Prozess, an dessen Basis immer eine genaue Analyse des Materials steht, das reproduziert werden soll.
