The name itself refers to the characteristic surface finish of the sheets of slate from which it draws its inspiration, achieved and enhanced by the craftsmanship of the quarry workers who cut the blocks directly in the quarry itself.
Ardesia a Spacco preserves the characteristics of this workmanship and combines it with all the technological potential at Laminam’s disposal. Ardesia Nero a Spacco, perteneciente a la colección inspirada en los elementos de la tierra I Naturali, nace del deseo de desarrollar un proyecto en el que el diseño de la superficie fuera el resultado de unir diferentes niveles de profundidad de la estructura, fundidos entre sí.
Su mismo nombre evoca el típico acabado superficial de las tablas de pizarra en las que se inspira, obtenidas y embellecidas por el trabajo manual de los canteros que cortaban los bloques directamente en la cantera.

Ardesia Nero a Spacco, aus der von den Elementen der Erde inspirierten Kollektion I Naturali, entstand aus dem Wunsch heraus, ein Projekt zu entwickeln, bei dem das Design der Oberfläche das Ergebnis der Vereinigung verschiedener Tiefenebenen der Struktur war, die miteinander verschmolzen wurden.
Der Name selbst erinnert an die typische Oberflächenbeschaffenheit der Tafelplatten, von der er inspiriert wurde, die durch die Handarbeit der Steinbrucharbeiter, die die Blöcke direkt im Steinbruch schneiden, erreicht und aufgewertet wird.
Ardesia a Spacco bewahrt die Eigenschaften der Handwerkskunst und kombiniert sie mit dem technologischen Potenzial, über das Laminam verfügt.
