The kitchen top is in fact the real star of the Tigertail project
At the foot of the Santa Monica Mountains, in the residential district of Bel Air, stands the splendid Villa Tigertail designed by the DI Group.Part of a complex of three single-family villas, for Villa Tigertail, GI Group proposed a bold style, with solid hues and dark colours that emphasise the villa’s ultra-modern architecture, softened by brown wood furnishing elements.
The aesthetic strength and application performance of Laminam surfaces has helped transform the designers’ vision into reality, thanks to the large slabs declined into functional and refined furnishing elements, the result of Laminam’s stylistic signature and technological innovation: the kitchen top is in fact the real protagonist of the Tigertail project.
The I Naturali collection was chosen for the kitchen, where the textural continuity between the top, worktop, drawers and island in Nero Greco, stands out. The finish is applied in size 1620×3240 mm with Laminam 12+ thickness and Natural finish for a kitchen with compact, essential and functional aspect.

Nero Greco, Noir Desir, Pietra di Savoia Antracite
Nero Greco proposes the refinement of an ancient and noble material, marble, even for the top of one of the residence’s enchanting bathrooms. The fullness of the dark colour, enhanced by the delicate light veins, hides an unprecedented desire to impress with the timeless seduction evoked by this timeless material.
Laminam ceramic slabs were also used in other bathrooms in the villa. The tops, in Laminam 12+ thickness, guarantee high performance in terms of technique, resistance, hygiene and ease of cleaning. The Pietra di Savoia Antracite shade reminds of the textural structure of grey stone, while Noir Desir conveys the fullness of black marble, interrupted only by the soft movement of ivory veins. Both colours are part of Laminam I Naturali collection.
The ceramic excellence brought to the Tigertail project is also demonstrated by DI Group being awarded the Ceramics Award of Italy Tile Competition for 2022 in the category “Single Family Residential Winner“. Now in its 28th year, the award recognises the outstanding work of North American designers who use Made-in-Italy ceramic tiles in their projects.

Villa Tigertail

Nero Greco, Noir Desir, Pietra di Savoia Antracite
In seiner 28.
